Connex is proud to announce that we have successfully passed our ISO 27001 surveillance audit with no findings. This is a significant achievement that demonstrates our ongoing commitment to information security and the management of data privacy.

The Importance of ISO 27001

ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management systems. It sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining, and improving an information security management system (ISMS).

The ISO 27001 certification is awarded to organisations that exhibit rigorous and comprehensive information security management practices, demonstrating their ability to safeguard sensitive information, prevent data breaches, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

Connex first achieved ISO 27001 certification in 2018, and has since maintained our status as a certified and compliant organisation through successful recertifications.

A Surveillance Audit with No Findings

The ISO 27001 surveillance audit is a comprehensive examination of an organisation’s ISMS, conducted by an independent third-party auditor. It samples various aspects such as risk management practices, data access controls, employee awareness and training, incident response planning, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

We are pleased to report that Connex successfully completed this surveillance audit with no findings. This achievement demonstrates our team’s unwavering commitment to implementing strong information security controls and practices at all levels of our organisation.

The surveillance audit report praised Connex for its commitment to information security controls, with the auditor noting, “System effectiveness has been demonstrated by evidencing a consistent knowledge and understanding of the processes which they undertake on a daily basis; there was also good evidence of appropriate controls being selected in relation to information security.”

Unwavering Commitment to Information Security

At Connex, we understand the critical importance of protecting our clients’ and their customers’ data.

Our ISMS is intended to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients’ and their customers’ data. It includes a comprehensive set of policies, procedures, and controls that are reviewed and updated on a regular basis to ensure their continued effectiveness.

“We are thrilled to have passed the ISO 27001 surveillance audit with no findings,” said Bethany Longthorne, Compliance Director of Connex. “This achievement demonstrates our unwavering commitment to providing our customers with the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and availability when using our communication and engagement software. It also underscores our dedication to continuous improvement in all aspects of our operations, particularly when it comes to protecting our clients’ valuable data.”

The successful audit of our ISMS is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. Connex would like to thank our customers for their continued trust. We are committed to protecting your data and ensuring that you can rely on us to provide you with the best possible service.
