ConnexAI is pleased to announce the opening of its new 18,000 sq ft European headquarters in the heart of Manchester, marking the company’s third major office expansion of 2021. The new space, located within Bauhaus, a landmark development owned and managed by Orchard Street Investment Management, will serve as the central hub for ConnexAI and Connex One’s rapidly growing UK workforce.

ConnexAIwill occupy 17,837 sq ft across the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors of the Bauhaus building. The expansion supports the continued growth of the company’s global operations, which now include additional headquarters across the United States and South Africa, as well as offices in Australia, Kenya, and Nigeria. Connex One’s phased occupation of the Manchester headquarters is expected to begin in November.

Founded in 2013 by brothers Nick and Richard Mealey, Connex One has grown to more than 250 employees worldwide, establishing itself as one of the region’s fastest-scaling technology companies and a strong contender for future unicorn status. The company is recognised for its industry-leading customer engagement platform, ConnexAI, used across sectors including finance, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and energy.

ConnexAI’s new headquarters will be fully fitted and furnished by Orchard Street, reflecting a shared commitment to modern, health-focused, and digitally advanced working environments. Bauhaus has been extensively refurbished to deliver best-in-class sustainability, well-being, and digital connectivity features. The building holds both a WiredScore Platinum certification and a WELL Gold (Core & Shell) certification — the first refurbished building in the UK to earn this distinction.

ConnexAI will share the Bauhaus building with hybrid workspace provider NewFlex, which will operate flexible workspace under its Bold brand. OBI represented ConnexAI during the leasing process, while CBRE and Colliers International acted as joint leasing agents for the scheme.
